‘Gorgeous’ George (you can call yours whatever you like!) is a fabulous small deciduous tree with a dense, rounded habit. Opening from pink buds in May, this white flowered crab apple produces crimson or orange-red fruits later in the year – perfect for making crab apple jelly!
- Garden care: Plant ‘Gorgeous’ as soon as conditions allow (avoiding frozen and waterlogged soil). Choose a sheltered spot to protect emerging blossom. Incorporate lots of well-rotted garden compost in the planting hole and stake and support firmly. If required, prune in winter to remove any dead, diseased or crossing branches.
| Option | bare root, MM111 root stock, 1.2m, 9 litre pot, MM111, 1.2 – 1.5m tall |
