Elegant, golden-yellow catkins in late winter, followed by mid-green, heart-shaped leaves and delicious, edible nuts ripening in mid-August. This variety is usually grown for its heavy crop of hazels but it also makes a very good pollinator of ‘Kent Cob’. An excellent tree for a sunny garden.
