A superb, heavy-cropping early-season cherry, ‘Merton Glory’ has large, yellow to white, red-flushed, heart-shaped fruits that ripen from late June. The fruit bruises easily so careful handling is essential. A vigorous tree that is upright at first but later spreading as it matures. Stunning white flowers are produced in spring. It is one of the few sweet cherries that is self-fertile and the generously-sized fruit has a gorgeous flavour.
