A late-season variety that produces big, delicious, and succulent, dark heart-shaped fruits – perfect as a dessert or baking cherry. With a mid-July ripening time, ‘Karina’ is an exceptional fruit tree offering a firm texture and versatility, making it an excellent choice when limited space allows for only one cherry tree. Great in most soils except dry, light and sandy.
Pollination Information: Though self-fertile, this cherry will produce a bigger crop if planted with another variety of cherry nearby. Ideally this should come from the same pollination group 4, however it is possible to use one from group 3 as well.
