Acer Palmatum ‘Trompenburg’

The purple-red leaves of this decorative Japanese maple have a delicate lustre, and the finger-like lobes tend to curl downwards, which gives them a rather elegant and delicate feel. Don’t be fooled though, as ‘Trompenburg’ is said to be hardier than most, and as it does not get too big, it is ideal for most gardens – large or small.
